Children (Care, Care Experience and Services Planning) (Scotland) Bill - Individuals with care experience and those providing support
Overview
The Children (Care, Care Experience and Services Planning) (Scotland) Bill is a draft law which is being considered by the Education, Children and Young People Committee at the Scottish Parliament.
The Committee wants to understand what individuals with care experience (children, young people and adults), and those supporting them, think of the draft law.
If you are responding on behalf of an organisation or are an academic, please respond to the version of the call for views that is for organisations and academics.
If you are an individual with care experience, or have supported someone in care, please use the submission form below.
About this call for views
The Committee is not asking you to share your own care story. Members of the Committee know that care experienced people have been asked to do so many times. Instead, we are looking for your views on the changes set out in this draft law.
Your responses will be published on the Scottish Parliament’s website. This is important as it helps other people understand the feedback on the draft law the Committee has received.
When you are responding, please be careful not to mention any names or details of other people (e.g. other family members). If you do this, we may need to ask you to remove this information before we publish your responses.
