Overview

The Health and Sport Committee would like to invite you to respond to its targeted call for written views on the provisional Common Framework on Public Health Protection and Health Security.

Following the UK’s exit from the European Union, the explanatory cover note accompanying the outline agreement of the provisional Common Framework describes its purpose as being “to ensure continued cooperation on serious cross-border threats to health within the UK following the end of the Transition Period and a robust UK-wide regime on public health protection and health security”.

The Committee is seeking your views on the provisional Common Framework, specifically do you think it will meet its stated purpose as set out in the covering note from the Scottish Government, and do you have any specific concerns about its implementation?

The Committee will use responses to this call for evidence to help inform its scrutiny of the provisional Common Framework in the course of December 2021 / January 2022.

How to submit your views

Please submit your views using the online submission form, linked to below.

We welcome written views in English, Gaelic, Scots or any other language.

The call for views closes on Monday 6 December.
