National Care Service (Scotland) Bill

 

 

The Health, Social Care and Sport Committee, and other Committees in the Scottish Parliament, are looking into the National Care Service Bill.

The Scottish Government describes the purpose of the Bill as being to improve the quality and consistency of social work and social care services in Scotland.

The Bill proposes the establishment of a National Care Service.

MSPs are looking at the details of the proposals, and want to know what people think about them.

Knowing your views will help them think about ways the proposed law could be improved, and whether the draft Bill should be passed into law by the whole Parliament.

There are two ways you can tell us what you think: 

You can respond to the Committee's detailed Call for Views, where you can give your views on the general principles of the Bill, the Financial Memorandum, and each of the specific provisions.  

You can make brief comments about sections of the Bill, or ask a question about the Bill, by joining the conversation on our engagement website.
