1. What is your view about the welfare of greyhounds used for racing in Scotland?

Racing Greyhounds are not "exploited" as the animal rights fanatics would have it - certainly no more "exploited" than any other working type of dog such as a farmers collie , a police/army dog, or for that matter, a pet dog or therapy dog. Racing greyhounds have to be kept in good condition to ensure they have optimum mental and physical fitness for a race, the same as a human athlete.
Additionaly, the sport of racing brings pleasure to many, and is a social occasion that also keeps trainers and track employees in work.
